SCANEXPRESS mobile CT system among Saxony-Anhalt’s 20 most innovative projects.
Blankenburg, [15 November 2025] – Microvista GmbH has been nominated for the 2025 Hugo Junkers Prize for its mobile CT system ScanExpress. This nomination places Microvista among the 20 most innovative projects in Saxony-Anhalt competing for the state’s most prestigious innovation award this year. The prestigious award recognises research and development achievements that make an important contribution to the future viability of the economy and society.
Industrial CT inspection goes mobile
With ScanExpress, Microvista brings computer tomography directly into the production halls. Instead of transporting components to the laboratory, which is time-consuming and costly, companies can now carry out their tests flexibly on site. The system is suitable for various materials such as plastics and metals and is designed for high throughput in series production. It delivers fast results, reduces waste and facilitates seamless quality assurance. “Our mobile CT is designed to be a problem solver. Wherever intensive quality testing is required on a temporary, often unexpected basis, it is available to our customers at short notice,” says Prof. Dr. Lutz Hagner, one of the two managing directors of Microvista GmbH.
Pitch completed in front of the jury
As part of the competition, the nominees presented their projects to a jury on 11 November 2025. On behalf of Microvista, CEO Dr Robin Höhne presented the mobile CT system ScanExpress and explained its technological and economic added value for the industry.
Recognition for practical innovation
The winners of the Hugo Junkers Prize 2025 will be announced at the award ceremony on 11 June 2026 in Magdeburg. The nomination highlights ScanExpress’s strength: a practical solution that combines technological precision with economic efficiency.
